Arrive
in Beijing
Arrive in Beijing, our
guide will meet you at the airport or railway
station, and then transfer you to the downtown
hotel. The rest of the day is free for your
will, have a rest or take a walk near your
hotel. |

02 |
Beijing
(Breakfast,
Lunch)
After breakfast at hotel,
visit the Tiananmen Square, then walk north
to explore the Forbidden City. Later you will
tour to the Summer Palace. Optional program
in the evening: Peking Opera, Kungfu Show
or Chinese Acrobatics.
Tiananmen
Square: The name of the square
comes from the Tiananmen Gate, which is located
on the north side of the square. Tiananmen
was the main gate of the royal palace (Forbidden
City) of both the Ming and Qing Dynasties.
Forbidden
City: The Forbidden City served
as the royal palace of the Ming and Qing dynasties,
and 24 emperors once lived there over a period
of 500 years. Constructed from 1406 to 1420,
covering an area of 720,000 square meters,
it served as the ceremonial and political
center of the Chinese imperial government.
Summer
Palace: Covering an area of 2.95
square kilometers, the Summer Palace is a
well-preserved royal garden. It is a large
landscape garden based on Kunming Lake and
Longevity Hill. In 1998, the Summer Palace
was listed on the World Heritage List by UNESCO. |

03 |
Beijing
(Breakfast,
Lunch)
After breakfast, you
will have an excursion to the Mutianyu Great
Wall. After lunch, visit the Temple of Heaven.
Drive back to downtown Beijing, stop by the
Bird's Nest (Olympic National Stadium) and
Water Cube (National Aquatics), to view the
unique constructions and take some photos.
Mutianyu
Great Wall: With a length of 2,250
meters opened to the tourists, this section
of Great Wall is considered the most beautiful
in Beijng. The whole area is like a garden
on a mountaintop. Mutianyu Great Wall has
25 watchtowers. There are abundant natural
springs which feed a great variety of plants
and fruit trees. The scenic beauty is excellent
especially in spring and autumn.
Temple
of Heaven: Originally built in
1420 during the Ming Dynasty, it is famous
for its 38-metre-high Hall of Prayer for Good
Harvest. The Temple of Heaven is a circular
construction, and is also a good example of
China's ancient architectural art.

04 |
Beijing
- Chongqing
(Breakfast, Lunch)
This day you will explore
Hutongs by rickshaw to know more about the
life of local Beijing people. After lunch,
you will be transferred to the airport for
the flight to Chongqing. Upon your arrival
at Chongqing airport, our local local guide
will meet you and send you to the port for
Yangtze River Cruise boarding.
Hutong:
Old lanes, alleys or small streets, formed
by rows of courtyards where old Beijing residents
lived. It is in these gray-tiled long lanes
that families play, buy goods, gossip, and
connect. In the past, hutongs are home to
celebrities, business owners and officials.
Now Hutong is the first choice for visitors
who are interested in learning about the Beijing's
history and traditional culture. |

05 |
Yangtze
River Cruise (Breakfast,
Lunch, Dinner)
Start sailing along
the Yangtze River in the morning. Enjoy the
marvelous scenery along way.
08:30-10:00 Shore excursion to the 400-year-old
Shibaozhai Temple or Fengdu City which has
formed a special culture of ghosts and the
afterlife. The shore excursions are subject
to the arrangement by cruise company.
13:00-17:00 Participate activities on board.
18:00 Captain's welcoming banquet, then 20:00
enjoy singing, dancing and music performance
by the cruise staff in the evening. |

Yangtze
River Cruise: Qutang Gorge - Wu Gorge
(Breakfast,
Lunch, Dinner)
08:00-10:00 Sailing
through the spectacular Qutang Gorge and the
pretty Wu Gorge. 10:00-13:30 take shore excursion
for Shennong Stream or Lesser Three Gorges
(depending on different cruise itineraries).
You have the option of visiting White Emperor
City.
After that, return to the cruise ship for
viewing the Xiling Gorge scenery.
20:00 Singing & Dancing Concert.
20:00-24:00 Pass the ship locks of the Gorges
Dam. |
Day
07 |
Yangtze
River Cruise - Yichang - Wuhan - Guilin
(Breakfast,
Lunch, Dinner)
See the great project
of Three Gorges Dam after breakfast. Return
to the ship and ready for check-out. The ship
will arrive in Yichang at around 11:30 and
our guide will pick you up on board. Afterwards,
transfer you to the Wuhan Airport to take
the afternoon flight for Guilin. Met and transferred
to your hotel.
Arrive in Guilin,
our English speaking tour guide will meet
you at Liangjiang International Airport and
transfer to your hotel with private air-conditioned
vehicle. After claiming your luggage, you
will easily find our guide holding a welcome
sign with your name on it. |
Day
08 |
Guilin
- Li River Cruise - Yangshuo (Breakfast,
Lunch)
Today's highlight is taking the Li
River Cruise. Li River Scenic Zone is
one of the largest and most beautiful karst
landscape tourist areas in China. In the morning,
be transferred to the Zhujiang Pier, which
takes about 50 minutes' driving. Then aboard
the boat to start the cruise down to Yangshuo
that takes about 4-5 hours. Cruising on the
crystal clear Li River, visitors will view
many limestone peaks and bamboo groves along
the riverbank like a traditional Chinese painting;
water buffaloes pulling the plough; fishermen
and their cormorants glide on narrow bamboo
rafts. Have lunch on the boat.
After disembarking the boat, ramble in the
West Street - the most ancient stone slate
street in Yangshuo which was first built in
590 A.D.. Tour to countryside and villages.

09 |
Yangshuo
- Guilin - Shanghai (Breakfast,
Lunch)
Drive 1.5 hours back to Guilin. Tour to the
Reed Flute Cave and the Elephant Trunk Hill.
Enjoy a leisure walk from the picturesque
Fir Lake to the Banyan Lake and the Southern
Ancient Gate. You will be accompanied by tour
guide to Guilin airport to board flight for
Shanghai.
Reed
Flute Cave: The cave contains some of
the most extraordinary underground scenery
in Guilin. Inside the cave are a large number
of stalagmites, stalactites, stone curtains,
stone pillars, and stone flowers. Illuminated
by the colorful lights, the cave looks like
a dazzling and splendid underground palace.
Elephant
Trunk Hill: It looks like an elephant
dipping its trunk into the Li River, hence
the name. A pagoda that was constructed in
Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) is found on the hill.
The Elephant Hill Park is the most visited
park in Guilin. |

Shanghai

Lunch)
Tour to the visit Yuyuan
Garden. Afterwards, explore
the nearby Chenghuang Miao bazaars and XinTianDi.
After lunch, take a stroll over The Bund and
Nanjing Road.
Yuyuan Garden:
First constructed in 1559 as a private garden,
the classical Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) garden
covers an area of 20,000 square meters. Inside
the garden, there are elegant pavilions, grottoes,
zigzag bridges crossing streams, fresh greenery
and lotus ponds teaming with goldfish.
